Sight reading guitar chord charts can be a very nice thing to be able to do. This skill will help you get gigs and play with other musicians without needing to see and prepare the music first. Guitar sight reading is a nice skill to have that too many guitarist ignore in this day and age of guitar tabs and self taught instrumentalists. This is basic musicianship that will allow you to play with more people and understand your instrument better.
