Golden Cyclocross Course: Volunteers are needed now through the fall months to do course maintenance, mowing etc. Volunteers are needed for a few hours per month. Support is also needed for the Back 2 Basics CX Series and the Amy D Breaking Barriers CX race. Email Lee Waldman: at lwaldman3@gmail.com or call 720-313-5312 if interested.
Spring Valley Scramble: (May 31- Jun 1) – Race days would not be possible without the incredible work of volunteers! Spend part of the day supporting inspirational athletes. It takes a “village” to put on quality mountain bike races. Many parents and cycling enthusiasts find helping with race production to be a fun and rewarding experience. Thank you in advance for your valuable assistance. We also offer you a free race entry (minimum 3 hours, discounts for fewer hours) for your hard work in keeping everyone safe!
Gear Up! – (Date TBD but likely 1st week in June) – Gear Up! is Bicycle Colorado’s biggest fundraiser and a great night of fun! We will kick off the event with a week-long online auction, culminating at our in-person party. Each year, we raise over $100,000, with all proceeds used to make bicycling safer and more accessible in Colorado for anyone who rides a bike. We are looking for volunteers to support with things like setup/takedown, check-in/check-out, and bike parking etc. Email hilary@guitarsphere.com if you are interested in volunteering.
Ride to End ALZ: (June 7) – Volunteers are the backbone of the Ride to End ALZ! Volunteers work under event staff during shifts that range from 3 hours to all day long. Volunteers have a “whatever it takes” attitude and make the Ride safe and fun. Volunteers do not pay a registration fee and are not required to fundraise. Questions? Bike to Work Day: (June 26th) – Bicycle Colorado is putting together a few organized group rides that would meet up in downtown Denver and ride together to all of the downtown Denver area Bike to Work Day stations. We are looking for a few volunteers to help lead these group rides. We will also need help tabling at various stations in Denver/Golden/Boulder to recruit new members. Aspen Gran Fondo: (July 6) – Bike races and events take a lot of manpower to run smoothly and safely. Your help is greatly appreciated! Triple Bypass: (July 13) – Team Evergreen is looking for volunteers to help with packet pickup, assistance at the start/finish areas & aid stations, and riding sweep for the ride etc. Email hilary@guitarsphere.com for more info.

Venus de Miles: (August 24) – Venus de Miles needs volunteers for their event on 8/24/24! They need many positions filled, some examples include: rest stops, festival crew, tear down, parking, course marshals, SAG vehicles, and more. Denver Century Ride: (Sept 28) – Join in the fun of producing Denver’s epic urban cycling tour. Centrally based from the Shops at Northfield (I70 and I270), there are volunteer opportunities in packet pick-up, aid stations, SAG and moto support, course marshals, and the post ride street party. Volunteers perks include a graphic t-shirt, necessary, goody bag, snacks and meal vouchers. Nonprofit groups can receive a financial donation as well! Learn more at .
