ADVENTURE CYCLING ASSOCIATION

Adventure Cycling Association’s mission is to inspire and empower people to travel by bicycle. Established in 1973 as Bikecentennial, it is the premier bicycle-travel organization in North America.

ALLIANCE FOR BIKING AND WALKING

The Alliance for Biking & Walking creates, strengthens and unites state and local bicycling and walking advocacy organizations. It gives advocates tools to win campaigns that transform communities into great places to bike and walk.

AMERICAN TRAILS

American Trails is a national, nonprofit organization working on behalf of all trail interests, including hiking, bicycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, water trails, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, trail motorcycling, ATVs, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN BICYCLING ASSOCIATION (IMBA)

IMBA’s mission is to create, enhance and preserve great mountain biking experiences. Since 1988, IMBA has been bringing out the best in mountain biking by encouraging low-impact riding, volunteer trail work participation, cooperation among different trail user groups, grassroots advocacy and innovative trail management solutions.

LEAGUE OF AMERICAN BICYCLISTS

The LAB leads the movement to create a Bicycle Friendly America for everyone. As leaders, the LAB’s commitment is to listen and learn, define standards and share best practices to engage diverse communities and build a powerful, unified voice for change.

NATIONAL CENTER FOR BICYCLING AND WALKING

The NCBW is a resident program at Project for Public Spaces, Inc. It was establishing in 1977 as the Bicycle Federation of America, Inc. NCBW’s aim is to change the way communities are planned, designed and managed to ensure that people of all ages and abilities can walk and bike easily, safely and regularly.
